Drew has another great hair style, shown here.  The hair is kept slightly wavy all over before it is pulled back and twisted into a high chignon. 

 

For added flair, leave out several wispy strands of hair around the face.

 

Apply a thickening cream or gel all over damp hair before blow drying. Use a large round brush to add soft waves to the hair. 

 

Add extra height in the crown area by taking small sections of hair and gently backcombing the hair.  Smooth over the top of the hair with your fingers.

 

This style will work with just about any type of prom dress.  You can accessorize the style with earrings, necklace, or even small flowers in the crown area.
