If you want your partial updo hair style to be different, Autumn Resser, pictured left, shows you a different spin on the popular partial updo.

 

Create this style by first applying a straightening cream throughout damp hair.  Blow dry the hair using a large round brush, directing all layers down and under.

 

Next, apply a heat protecting product all over the hair and run a flat iron over all the hair from roots to the ends.  Part the hair deep on one side.

 

Gently take small sections on both sides of the part and back comb the hair to create height.  Pull back hair in the crown area and secure into a mid-height ponytail in the back.

 

Apply a shine serum all over the hair to create the shiny look and feel, add some pearl earrings and necklace and you are ready for the prom.  What a fabulous look!
