Here we have another example of a partial updo hair style with height in the crown area.  This style features a fuller bodied look. 

Alana Grace has combined this partial updo with very long, striking earrings for a glamorous look.

To create this style on your own, first apply a volumizing product to damp hair.  Blow dry the hair using a large round brush. 

Once the hair is completely dry, you can create more volume in the crown area by gently back combing small sections of hair.  Smooth over the top of the hair with your fingers before pulling back the hair into a high ponytail.  The higher the ponytail in the back, the higher the hair will appear.
